* The 2017 Mario G. Olmos Scholarship Banquet ~

Thanks to everyone who helped make the 2017 Mario G. Olmos Memorial Scholarship Banquet a big success including all the students who submitted applications. The 2017 Olmos Memorial Banquet was held on April 7, 2017, at Pardini's in Fresno CA. President Griselda Torres and Vice President and Master of Ceremonies William Eric McComas hosted the banquet and did an excellent job of moving the program along. The program included Keynote Speaker David Lopez, Fmr. General Counsel for the U.S. Equal Opportunity Commission, who delivered a heartfelt, inspirational speech. Student Kevin Perez, the winner of the 2017 Olmos Essay Contest at Olmos Elementary School in Fresno read his humorous, winning essay. The Clovis High School Marimba provided the back ground music prior to the program. DJ Mark Lozada provide the musical ambiance for the dance that followed the program.</p>
